Those Belgians and their croissant munching habits

Belgian model Florian Van Bael was kicked off a Bruce Weber/Abercrombie & Fitch photoshoot in the Hamptons because he tucked into a croissant.
What a terribly pathetic excuse by fat slob Weber and his overpriced underpants emporium mates. Don't they realise growing boys (not only Belgian ones) have a healthy appetite and Europeans have no natural aversion to carbs?
It certainly looks like our Florian certainly isn't worse for wear for indulging in his culinary culture.
If you have body issues, there is nothing a nice croissant can't fix.
