Hmmm, sorry for the lack of posts lately. There was too much work on so not much time to pursue this hobby. I did write a letter to the local island newspaper about the unjustified ferry price increases on August 1.
Basically we're being gouged by a private monopoly who can control the price of our freedom of movement at random, unencumbered by any price controls or subsidy strings attached to their service delivery, but that's the price of international monopoly capitalism, obviously. (Fullers is majority owned by Stagecoach, which in turn is a subsidiary of the evil bigoted Scottish Empire of the same name.)
The newly revamped Maxx website for Auckland transport users had a good thread on the issue, instigated by moi, naturellement.
