Political blog survey
Andrew Cushen is writing a thesis on political blogs for a MA in Political Studies at the University of Auckland. As part of his research he’s conducting two surveys that can be found at the links below:

What unspeakable terms have you been searching for again this month?:

- tread lightly on other men's dreams but you can boot my nightmares.
- well-lit gay porn. What porn and TV soap operas have in common cinematically is a lack of shadows and massive overhead lighting.

Vanity Googling?
One of the pleasures of a web counter is being able to see what web surfers have searched for before landing on one's blog. I am surprised that the most common search item that ends up on mine is "Alex Behan" and his penis. This was the subject of one of my first blog ever, and it is nice to see that historical items still have such an attraction. Maybe it's the lack of such forthright information on the TV2 Top of The Pops site that forces people to go further afield to find what they are looking for.

Interior decorating
Finally decided on a new skin for the blog. Looks kinda 60s Sci-Fi (Raumschiff Orion rather than Star Trek) but I've always wanted to take Captain Scarlett for a tropical tryst on Tracey Island. (I know, I know, different puppet series)
